Word of Shelf is a discovery-first library for books already available on Amazon. We give authors a place to list their releases and help readers find books they'll genuinely enjoy — through genre, themes, new releases, price drops, and personal recommendations.

How it works

Our model is deliberately simple: we may earn a small commission when a reader buys a book through a qualifying Amazon link, but authors can't pay for preferential placement. No pay-to-win rankings, hidden sponsored shelves, or purchased "best of" lists. Every book gets the opportunity to be discovered on its merits and by the readers it suits.

For authors and readers

For authors, that means fairer visibility and another route to reach the right audience. For readers, it means a more trustworthy way to browse beyond the same heavily promoted titles.

Follow your interests

Readers can follow favourite genres, authors, and book types, then choose alerts for things like new releases, price drops, limited-time deals, or books matching their interests. Word of Shelf exists to make great books easier to find — and to help good releases earn the attention they deserve.
