Submitting a book

Anyone may submit a book they wrote or recommend a book someone else wrote. By submitting, you confirm that you are either the rights holder of the book (if submitting as the author) or that you are recommending a publicly available, legitimately published book you do not hold rights to (if submitting as a reader). WordOfShelf does not host, sell, or distribute book files — every listing links out to the book's Amazon product page.

No payment for submissions

There is no payment, royalty, or other compensation for submitting or recommending a book, whether or not it is approved. Any Amazon affiliate commission earned from outbound links funds the operation of WordOfShelf itself, not individual submitters.

Moderation

All submissions are reviewed before publishing. We may reject a submission for any reason, including but not limited to spam, low-quality or duplicate listings, or a dead/invalid Amazon link. A rejection will include a stated reason, and you're welcome to correct the issue and resubmit.

Takedown requests

If you are an author or rights holder and want a listing of your book removed, contact us at [insert contact email] with the book's URL on WordOfShelf and we will review the request.

Disclaimer

Book details (price, availability, cover image) are controlled by Amazon and may change or become outdated between our review and your visit. WordOfShelf is not responsible for the content of external Amazon listings.
